Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are – Brené Brown
I have just finished reading the book: The Gifts of Imperfection by author and professor Dr. Brené Brown.
You might know Brené Brown from the TED Talk, the Power of Vulnerability. If you have not seen this beautiful TED Talk, you should definitely watch it!
This book is a very easy to read book based on years of research by Brené. She is very honest, warm and funny. And encourages the readers to let go of perfectionism and stress and to trust your intuition & creativity.
This book is about ten different statements about how to live a compassionate life. She describes how compassion, courage and connectedness can get an important place in your life.
We, as humans, tend to think issues like “What would others think of me” to “I am not good enough”.
If you recognize yourself in the above, this book would be perfect for you. However, I would recommend this book to anyone, because it is just beautiful.
You can order it online or buy it in a bookstore.
Enjoy reading and I would love to hear your stories about this book.
Lots of Love,
